Dirty Raspberry Tea Latte

Raspberry Tea LatteWhat makes this raspberry tea latte dirty? Espresso!

You wouldn’t normally think of mixing tea and coffee in one cup (it’s pretty much blasphemy, after all), but the espresso adds a surprising richness to the black tea without being overwhelming. Plus, the flavors of raspberries, honey and cream combine for a wonderfully delicious and comforting beverage.

The “latte” bit is kind of a misnomer because you won’t actually be steaming milk for this recipe—though if you have the right equipment you certainly could! It should also be noted that, while the recipe is formulated for a regular-sized mug, you’ll probably want to break out your biggest drinking vessel and double or even triple the batch. It’s just that good.

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces Raspberry Sangria tea, brewed
  • 1 ounce espresso or strong-brewed coffee
  • Honey, to taste
  • Cream, to taste

Directions:

  1. In a mug, combine honey, tea and espresso, stirring until well blended.
  2. Add cream, to taste.
