Green Tea Chocolates

by minato We’re always up for a recipe that’s as simple to make as it is irresistible, and these gorgeous Matcha Green Tea Chocolates deliver. White chocolate is paired up with cooking-grade matcha to create a flavor that begins with an earthy, astringent taste and finishes with a lingering sweetness.

Ingredients:

  • ½ lb fine-quality white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp cooking-grade matcha green tea powder, plus extra for dusting
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Stir in 2 tsp matcha green tea powder and heavy cream.
  3. Pour into candy molds and rest until set.
  4. Dust the finished candies with remaining matcha.
  5. Serve at room temperature.
