Cranberry Tea Hot Punch Recipe

Heated punch never fails to warm the insides. This cranberry tea concoction is a soothing relaxer you and your family, guests, or whoever will want to come back for again and again.

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons loose-leaf black tea (try Nilgiri or Ceylon)
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • 4 cloves

Method

  1. Make strong tea by steeping the loose-leaf tea in boiling water for 6-8 minutes. Strain.
  2. Add cranberry juice, apple cider, brown sugar, and spices. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Garnish with orange slices, and serve.
