Banana Chai Smoothie

Need an energy boost? This Banana Chai Tea Smoothie recipe is as quick and easy to make as it is to chug! Just freeze chai concentrate in advance for an instant tea smoothie.

Pairings

  • White Chai, by Adagio
  • Masala Chocolate Truffle Chai, by Mighty Leaf
  • Organic Golden Chai, by Numi

Yields 1.5 to 2 cups.

Ingredients

  • 4 chai ice cubes (made by freezing a chai concentrate, such as Rishi’s Masala Chai Tea Concentrate, in an ice cube tray)
  • 1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 frozen banana—use those over-ripe bananas you didn’t get to eat! Just peel, put in a freezer bag and freeze to use in smoothies.)
  • Optional adds: Up to 1/2 cup frozen berries, such as strawberries, blueberries or mixed berries

Method

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
