Hi there The Daily Tea’r,
Here you can find a little about me, Cem (pronounced “Gem”) Guvener. I am doing business development for The Daily Tea so my job in a nut shell is to make sure you, The Daily Tea’r, get introduced to the great companies out there in the business, learn more about them, their histories, their uniqueness, their areas of expertise and get to try and test different products that this great market produces for you!
I was born in Austin, TX but since I grew up in Turkey I can say that I grew up around Turkish Black Tea. Tea is part of our daily life, we have it at breakfast, before lunch at the office, after lunch at the office (and of course during lunch!), then another round in the afternoon and most probably after dinner at home. No wonder Turks consume a lot of tea! My tea knowledge and horizon beyond the delicious Turkish tea widened up when I moved back to the USA in 2008 and it’s been a great journey. There is so much to learn and taste in this great tea world! I lived in NYC, Florida and have been residing in Philadelphia for the last 3 years. I am known to be the one asking questions all the time and challenging but hey, the more you ask the more you’ll learn so the more you can help others, right?
